ABOUT LEE PERRY GROSS
Lee Perry Gross got his artisitic start at NYC's High School of Music and Art as a fine arts major. He continued his art work through college while becoming more deeply involved with music. Lee graduated with a B.A. Cum Laude in Psychology from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo. He knew he wanted to touch people’s lives with art and music. Lee continued his studies at Pratt Institute where he graduated with a master’s degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development.

Lee began working with emotionally and physically limited individuals and groups combining his interest in art and psychology. He has developed programs for social service and health care agencies since 1980; employing the therapuetic use of creative arts to enhance the quality of life for children, seniors, as well as patients of medical and psychiatric facilities. Lee developed a personalized and dynamic approach to musical entertainment by bringing the joy of music to those less fortunate.

A seasoned performer of musical events featured by the New York city Dept. of Cultural Affairs, Brooklyn Arts Council, Westchester and Long Island Recreation and Parks Departments, and Hospital Audiences Inc., Lee Perry Gross has been sponsored by NYNEX, The Ford Foundation, Con Edison, Goldman Sachs, Nordstrums, and N.Y. Cares Inc. as well as Catholic Charities, B'nai B'rith, Hadassa, and Workmens Circle. Lee Perry Gross was featured on the television showcase "Mixed Company' for new talent, WFDU, and Caedmon Records. In addition, his artwork has been published in the 'Native's Guide to New York' by St. Martins Press.

Lee presents a delightful combination of popular and international music, swing, calypso, humorous ballads, and familiar standards. With a superb voice, masterful harmonica, electric guitar and a winning personality. His manner and music are danceable, and engaging in any of seven different languages.

Lee Perry Gross Music produces over 2000 musical events a year from small house parties and weddings to corporate trade shows and events. These events also include festivals, fairs, client appreciation events, company picnics, holiday parties sales meetings, product launches, and trade shows.
